Small Bronze Bird Form Kohl Container

This kohl container in the shape of a bird is a frequently encountered form for such containers, lamp finials and the like. It is hollow cast to permit the storing
of kohl for decorating the eyes.
It has a naturalistic beak, face and crest. The slender tail extends from the rear. The body is supported by two feet and a third support to a ringed mount. The
back is cast with wings and feathers and the breast, back and head are covered with further dimpling to denote plumage.
