This figure of Durga slaying the buffalo demon Mahisha shows Durga with a prominent trident that's being thrust into the demon. Durga has
eight arms, in her hands she holds a sword, a bow, a shield, a bowl, what looks to be a quiver of arrows, a lotus bud stem, the demon's head
and the trident. A long plait falls down her back.
The image has ample puja wear and remnants of sindhoor powder.
