A Glass Ewer

The ewer is of brown moulded and blown glass, the globular body stands on a circular foot, has a flaring neck with a delicate trailed handle, and a fine flaring
spout terminating in a floral finial.

The body is gently curved and opens to a small rimmed top. The recessed base has a pontil mark. An example of Iranian revival glassware.

A related example is on display in the British Museum (cat. no. OA G 330) and in the David Collection in Copenhagen.
