    This finely executed ring is decorated with typically Sri Lankan or Ceylonese motifs including intricate flowers and kurtimukha (protective) masks on either side of the bezel. The bezel itself has been set with a single garnet cabochon.

    The ring comprises gold sheet over a lac core. It has a good weight in the hand and is stable, wearable and robust. It is in excellent condition with no splits or dents.

    The gold tests to around 14 carats.
