Silver Mango Amulet

the mango is 5.5cm high; the necklace is approximately 65cm long
A necklace of one hollow-cast, lac-filled silver mango suspended from a native cotton woven
rope. The mango is engraved with three characters of devanagari (hindi) script.
Necklaces such as these were worn as fertility amulets - mangoes being symbolic of fertility.
