A Ganga-jumna Lota (Water Container)

The body of the lota is decorated with a central band in which seven hamsas in copper stand on brass boughs that terminate in copper flowers. The rest of the
vase is decorated with geometric bands and bands of lotus petals. A lota of similar style is in the Victoria & Albert Museum (cat. 29-1888 I.S.)
