Lacquered Betel Box

This betel box is decorated with various scenes in red, green, yellow and black lacquer. The cover shows a large figure astride a buffalo. There are two panels
of Burmese script. One translates giving the place of manufacture as 'Bagan'. The other provides the maker's name: 'Master Sein Htike'.
The box retains its internal tray.
There are some losses to the rim associated with age and use.
