Bronze Nandi Offering Tray or Lamp Stand

This stand shows Nandi on a platform which stands on four feet. Nandi has a Shaivite crescent on his forehead in addition to his other rich ornamentations.
The stem for a lamp or an offering tray would have been inserted into the back of the bull. This piece has excellent patina and rounded contours from age and
ritualistic use.
