The top is carved with Koranic verses in bold,
flowing Arabic script amid geometric scrolling,
and inlaid with mother-of-pearl. The legs and
elaborate arches are similarly inlaid and
carved; the legs flaring and further inlaid.
The table has an overall, lovely, honeyed
patina.
