This small, delightful box has a lovely soft patina. It is finely repousssed top and on all sides with scrolling Islamic-inspired palmette motifs. The lid is hinged
and fits tightly. Typical of early Indian silver it has no identifying marks. The silver is relatively high-grade and has a waxy, buttery feel.
