This postally-unused postcard shows a young Straits Chinese or nonya girl dressed for her role in
a traditional Straits Chinese wedding.

She has a long, finely beaded cloak trailing to her side, a Ching-style gown, and numerous items
of jewellery including rings, and a head piece and chest ornaments based on the bride's
sanggul
kemantain
and dada kemantain.

The postcard is in good condition with no tears and relatively crisp edges.
