Bronze Yali Finial

This bronze finial, in the form of a yali, or mythical lion has been cast with
bulging eyes, a crested head, gaping mouth and protruding tongue.
The finial is most likely from a cane, staff or mace. It is presented mounted.

by Bonhams, 'Islamic & Indian Art,' London, October 25, 2007, lot 540. A
