Tantric Ritual Tripod Stand

This tripod stand comprises three zoomorphic feet and legs supporting a tear-shaped ring with two flower bud finials.
Such stands were used to hold conch shells and other items associated with Hindu ritual.
The item has rounded contours and good patina consistent with considerable age and ritual use.
