Mughal Brass Ewer

This lidded ewer in bright yellow brass is lightly chased all over with floral motifs. The body is cast with raised leaf-like borders and raised central tear-drop
cartouches to either side. These are also chased with floral motifs. The handle commences with a lion-like head and terminates with a stylised lotus bud. The
spout is long and similarly engraved; the hinged lid terminating with a bud-like finial. The ewer stands on four flared feet.
