This fine flexible necklace from Kerala in South India, comprises dozens of gold elements decorated with delicate gold granulation work and each with a tiny suspended gold sphere creating an en tremble fringe. The gold used is at least 22 carats.
The finials are of trapezoid form and embossed with a leafy motif.
The necklace retains its original metallic-wrapped thread cord, with a slip-knot closure.
