This pair of silver bangles appear to have been cast for a child and are believed to have been used in a small region between Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

They are cast from silver and are in two parts. A screw mechanism holds them closed on one side and the other side was held closed by an another element, possibly a chain.

Their bold design and the precision of their form makes them particularly striking.

    They are in fine condition.
