Framed, Unused Sheet of Japanese Occupation of Burma Postage Stamps

The sheet comprises 100 printed stamps and the margins, printed in blue ink on cream paper with the reverse gummed.

Each stamp shows an elephant carrying a log in its trunk, with an elephant driver, and lettering in Japanese and Burmese script.

Such stamps were issued by the Japanese War Time administration for use in occupied Burma.

The sheet has been framed in a black and gold frame to make an interesting and highly decorative artwork.
