    This particularly beautiful charcoal on paper drawing of a slightly annoyed-looking young novice monk is by the Burmese artist Nyan Tun who was active in Rangoon in the 1990s.

    It is signed in the lower right ‘Nyan Tun.’

    It was acquired in Rangoon in the late 1990s by the previous owner.

    It is in excellent condition.
