Burmese Pen Ink Drawing ‘Morning Catch’, by Ko Soe

This interesting and intricate drawing of freshly-caught fish against netting has been executed entirely in ink – probably biro. Acquired in Rangoon, Burma around 1995, it is signed ‘Ko Soe’ in the bottom right.
Ko Soe was a local artist represented by commercial galleries in the Golden Valley district of Rangoon (Yangon) in the 1990s.
The reverse of the frame has a lengthy inscription in Burmese.
The painting is in fine condition. It is quite a remarkable work.
