This fine watercolour shows two working elephants charged no doubt with hauling teak logs. The elephant in the foreground has a mahout in Burmese dress.
The painting is signed in the lower left ‘A. Hulme’ and dated 1943, presumably a British official.
The painting is in fine condition.
