This particularly elegant necklace comprises fourteen gold lozenge-shaped components of high-carat gold sheet, probably filled with lac. Each is set with a white sapphire cabochon surrounded by an opaque blue enamel border. Each lozenge component is further embellished with a border of seed pearls.

The necklace includes a gold chain and a gold hook closure.

The necklace is in excellent, wearable condition. One of links between the main lozenge elements is a likely replacement.
