This dramatic, museum-quality anklet is made of a series of solid silver interlocking units joined to a twelve-sided cube which contains the opening screw mechanism.
The cube has been beautifully engraved with floral motifs and has prominent bud-like finials.
A related example is illustrated in Untracht (1997, p. 275).
