This fine, sculptural anklet is of hollow silver that has been chased with floral and other motifs.
The base has eighteen suspended silver ‘bells’ which jingled or rattled when the wearer moved.
It opens with a screw mechanism.
A similar example is illustrated in Seiwert (2009, p. 123).
The anklet is in excellent condition.
